I did something today I've never done before -- I gave notice at my day job without another job to go to.

Who would do something so crazy in today's economic climate? Well, me!

Truth be told, while I really like my current (former!) job, and LOVE the people I work with, my freelance career is taking off like a rocket, and I just can't do justice to both. I will miss my IMC gang so much, but I know we'll keep in touch. They're a great group of people.

So, as of March 13th, I'm officially self employed. 

I'm really excited about this decision -- the opportunities I see on the horizon are too exciting to pass up, and I can't wait for the day when I wake up and realize my commute is 10 feet, I can write in my jammies, and put my in-house staff to work.

They sleep a LOT, can't spell and their grammar is atrocious, but they're adorable so I forgive them.
